POCKLINGTON Lions Club are getting into the Easter spirit with a giant Easter Egg event around the area to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Fifty Easter eggs are hidden around shops, offices, hairdressers and pubs in the area and when people spot them they can pick a rabbit name from a grid for the chance to win that egg when the draw is made at Easter.

Club president, Graham Gillyon, said: “This is a fun way for our supporters to help us make a difference and it only costs £1 to enter your name of the bunny and there are 50 eggs placed within our local area.

“Last year, the Lions club donated over £1,300 to Marie Curie Cancer Care from its Easter egg activity and hopes to donate even more this year with the support of the local community.

“If you see the egg at a pub, restaurant, shop, café or when visiting the hairdressers, please make a £1 donation and enter the completion for a chance to
win.”

Graham would like to thank all the local traders and supporters who are involved in the
event.
