Refurbishment works will be carried out at South Cave Library from Tuesday 2 April until Tuesday 14 May.
The renovation will see the heating system replaced, new secure automatic doors installed, an entrance lobby created, which will improve access for people with disabilities, and repainting both internally and externally.
The library will close at the end of business, at 7pm, on 2 April and will reopen, at 2pm, on 14 May.
The library facility will be unavailable during the closure. However, alternative libraries are available at North Ferriby and the Petuaria Centre, in Brough.
