Legion branch: ‘We need you!’

The Pocklington branch of The Royal British Legion faces closure if it is unable to attract more members.

The Royal British Legion is well known for the annual Poppy Appeal and the Pocklington branch desperately needs people from the surrounding area who can help with the appeal, from Saturday through to 8 November.

In the past 15 years, more than £100,000 has been raised in Pocklington and the surrounding villages and the branch normally earns in excess of £10,000 a year for the appeal.
