Jewellery stolen in village burglary

A burglar used a ladder to break into a house in a nearby village before stealing jewellery.

Humberside Police are appealing for information following the incident on The Meadows, South Cave at around 5pm on Tuesday (1 December).

An unknown man used a ladder to gain access to a house through an upstairs window.

Once inside he stole jewellery before leaving the area via the garden.

The suspect has been described as white, around 6ft 2ins tall with a slim build.

He was wearing a dark coloured hooded top, a black bomber style jacket with white hand sized motif on the back and stripe on the sleeves.

Property stolen included two silver plated necklaces, one with “Bethany” inscribed onto it.

Police would like to speak to anyone who can help identify the person responsible or anyone with information about the whereabouts of the stolen jewellery.
