Hunt still on for car tyre slasher

Police are still appealing for the whereabouts of the man who is alleged to have slashed car tyres in Pocklington.

Julian Glew, 45, is still wanted on a failure to appear warrant after not attending Beverley Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday October 14.

Mr Glew is believed to be sleeping rough in the Pocklington, Kilwick Percy area of the East Riding. He is not thought to pose a threat but police are seeking help from the public in locating him. Mr Glew is white, 5’7” tall of slim build with receding hairline and usually has a beard and moustache.

Glew, of Princess Avenue, Westbourne House, Hull, originally appeared in custody at Hull Magistrates’ Court on 21 September and pleaded guilty to three charges of criminal damage. He was arrested on 19 September in Pocklington Woods. Anyone with information can ring 101 quoting Ref 2143295.
