An egg-citing event is set to be held in Hayton.
The village’s ninth annual Egg Hunt and Easter Fair, at the village hall, will be held on 20 March, from 9.30am-1.30pm. There is a decorated egg competition for all ages. Entries need to be in by 10.30am. Judging is at 12noon.
For the egg hunt, up to 150 numbered eggs will be hidden around part of the village for people to find. It costs £1 to enter. Prizes will be awarded at 1.30pm.
The event will also feature many challenges and games for everyone, as well as bacon sandwiches and drinks.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
