Flood warning for Pocklington Beck no longer in place

A flood warning was issued for Pocklington Beck this morning (4 March), but it is now no longer in force.

A warning was issued at 6.50am but the Environment Agency confirmed at 7.57am that it is no longer in place.

A spokesperson for the Environment Agency said: “Heavy rainfall overnight led to a sharp rise in Pocklington Beck, the Beck has now peaked and is starting to fall. No further significant rainfall is expected, however we will continue to monitor the situation.”
