Fete to feature a range of attractions

There will be plenty of attractions at Pocklington Canal Amenity Society’s Bicentenary Fete on Sunday (24 May).

The event, at Melbourne Village Hall, from 11am-4.30pm, will feature static engines, craft stalls, tombola, games, a fairground ride, lace making, refreshments and food and many other attractions.

The society is encouraging people to make a donation towards the restoration of Pocklington Canal rather than pay an entry fee.

All proceeds from the fundraiser will go towards restoring the canal.
