North Newbald held its annual Christmas Fayre earlier this month with excited residents gathering at the Churchrooms for the much anticipated event.
Around 150 people turned up for the fayre, which featured stalls from local businesses, a tombola and a raffle.
Each year the fayre raises money for the village Youth Club, which meets at the Churchrooms, and organisers were delighted to collect £465 for the cause this time around.
Sally Askem, one of the organisers of the event, said: “Everybody said they really enjoyed the fayre, they said they liked the variety and the fact that we change things around from year to year.
“It was a good day for the local businesses too and it was good that the children ran a stall as well. We are very happy with the amount we raised for the Youth Club too.
“We are already looking forward to holding next year’s event and we hope people will continue to support the fayre, we couldn’t hold it without them.”
Our photographer Roger Pattison captured the event.
