Blues music fans from all over the country descended on Pocklington to take part in an event, which is believed to have generated thousands of pounds for the town’s economy.

The Acoustic Blues Weekend, at the Arts Centre, saw 30 people from across Great Britain, including the Isle of Man, Devon, Essex, London, Pocklington and Market Weighton, enjoy classes with three of the world’s leading blues musicians - Michael Messer, Ed Genis and Steve James.

A performance was held by Michael, Ed and Steve at the Arts Centre on the Saturday evening in front of a sold-out crowd.
