There was fun for all the family in Dunnington at the weekend for the return of the annual village fayre.
The event, at Eastfield Showground, included a children’s fair, craft stalls and the ever popular fun dog show with more than 20 classes.
A micro beer festival was also present this year as part of Dunnington Live on Sunday which saw a number of local artists take to the stage performing such as We could be Astronauts, The Shots and Alice Pimm.
An event organiser, Jenny Lewis, said: “We are very pleased with the turnout as the event was well supported with an estimated 1,500 people attending. The event was raising funds for Martin House though we haven’t got a final total yet.
“We would like to thank everyone, from the artists who performed free of charge to the general public. The event costs around £15,000 so it takes a lot of organising but it is certainly worth it in the end. The community really do join in with the event and make it the success it is.”
