ERYC planning new shelter for Pock

EAST Riding Council are planning to install a new bus shelter in Pocklington.

The shelter would be situated on Railway Street adjacent to the arches of the grade two station building.

Currently, Pocklington only has two bus shelters- one situated on George Street and the other at the bus depot in the town.

If they build the shelter, the local authority will offer Pocklington Town Council £1,000 to adopt and maintain it.

A spokesperson for East Riding Council said: “The council is exploring the possibility of another bus shelter but nothing has been decided yet.”
