Staff at Pocklington Infant School had an unusual treat at the end of last term.

Mr and Mrs Chu offered to cook a meal at their Chinese restaurant Stamford House in Stamford Bridge as a special gift for having taught their daughter, Megan, and, formerly, their son, Henry,

A date was arranged for the meal and those who could attend were delighted to sample a huge range of delicious starters and main courses.

Dessert was also offered but declined as everyone had eaten far too much.

Mr Mills, who was Megan’s final teacher at the infant school, brought his daughter, Niamh along too and an extremely, good time was had by all!
