Pocklington Community Junior School raised nearly 500 for the Nepal appeal.

After suffering its worst earthquake in decades, Nepal stole the hearts of the nation along with the staff and pupils of Pocklington Community Junior School. The school decided they wanted to raise funds to help the people of Nepal, by wearing their own clothes to school, instead of their usual school uniform.

Each child was asked to bring a small donation and the total amount raised was £494.74.

The school would like to thank the parents and carers of the children for their generosity and support which will help the people of Nepal.
