An enjoyable and entertaining visit to Hull New Theatre was organised for youngsters at Pocklington Community Junior School.
Year 4 and 5 children made the trip to the theatre on one day, with Year 3 and 6 pupils travelling to Hull the next day, to watch ‘Horrible Histories: Barmy Britain’ live on stage with amazing 3D effects.
The idea behind the visit was to give the children an insight into history and knowledge of the history of Britain. The production consisted of professional actors who portrayed life during historic times.
Meanwhile, pupils have made their own shields as part of their home learning task.
