A special guest visited Bishop Wilton Primary School recently to judge their culinary skills.
Sir Melton Mowbray, renowned for his pastry expertise, visited for the afternoon to judge a pork pie and sausage roll competition. Sir Melton talked to the children about the history of pork pies and revealed some interesting facts from the Guinness Book of World Records.
The majority of children in all three classes entered the competition.
