Young cyclists at Pocklington Community Junior School showcased their skills to help raise funds for charity.
Children at the school came dressed in their cycling gear for a day and cycled through a circuit set up in the school’s playground. They also had a go at cycling under a limbo stick.
Each pupil made a donation on the day to take part in the activities.
Sue Yeates, from the school, said: “They thought it was wonderful. It was quite a challenging circuit, it wasn’t easy.”
The youngsters helped raise £126 for the charity Cash for Kids, which is supported by Viking FM. They presented a cheque for £126 to the radio station’s mascot ‘Courage’ recently, on the same day a stunt bike display team visited the school.
The M.A.D team entertained youngsters by performing stunts in the playground.
