Green-fingered youngsters at Melbourne Community Primary School grew daffodils to raise funds and awareness for charity.

They were planted in the autumn and the children took them home recently.

The school also held a bun sale and raised £80 and received many other donations from parents and children.

The school raised a total of about £200 for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
