LITTLE Bears Nursery in Market Weighton is celebrating a double inspection success.

All aspects of the nursery’s provision were found to be strong in its recent Ofsted report, with inspectors grading the nursery as ‘good’ in all areas of its practice.

Further good news for Little Bears came when it achieved the top five star rating for food hygiene.

Nursery owner Hannah Mottram said that she was thrilled with the results.

She thanked all her staff for their hard work and dedication, especially her ‘fantastic’ nursery manager Emma Smith who has worked very hard to maintain such high standards of practice at Little Bears Day Nursery.

“We look forward to continuing this success in the future,” added Hannah.

The Ofsted report praised the nursery for providing a ‘safe, secure and happy environment for children’, adding that there is ‘a friendly atmosphere where children thrive and make good progress’.

Little Bears excelled in its food hygiene inspection and Hannah and Emma wished to thank the Nursery cooks Jess Adamson and Meagan Constable for all their hard work and menu planning that ensures all children receive a balanced, healthy and varied selection of freshly cooked meals.

The children also regularly take part in baking at the nursery, making many treats to enjoy at nursery and to share with their family at home.
