Newlands head overwhelmed by school’s open day interest

Parents have flocked to an open day held at one of East Yorkshire’s most innovative independent primary schools.

The headteacher at Newlands School, near Pocklington, said she was overwhelmed by the interest.

Tracey Kelly said: “The pupils and our teachers work really hard and have such a positive story to tell – it’s been wonderful there’s been so much interest.
