Charitable pupils at Pocklington Infant School have raised more than £1,100 for a children’s charity.
The school recently received a visit from an NSPCC representative, who spoke to children during an assembly about the charity’s work.
The whole school then took part in a sponsored dance on Children in Need day and raised £1,111 for the NSPCC.
Headteacher Gill Campbell said: “It is just amazing. We also raised just over £379 for Children in Need as well.
“For 167 children they did really well.”
