Antonia Crawford with Woldgate pupils Ben Brumby, Jack Wilcock and Tom Rushworth.
NOVELIST Antonia Crawford gave students at Woldgate College some useful tips about creative writing during a recent visit to the school.
Antonia, who has just released a new novel, called ‘The Titan Prophecy: Rise of the Dark One’, spoke to Year 8 and 9 pupils and members of the school’s reading group.
As well as giving advice on creative writing, the author talked about her influences and what made her want to write her new book. She also held a question and answer session with the pupils.
Paula Horner, an English teacher at Woldgate, said: “The children were really engrossed in it.
“We’ve had one author in and we’ve got another coming in April to get the children more interested in reading.”
