Charitable children at Pocklington Montessori School had fun raising funds and awareness for meningitis recently.
The school held a sponsored Toddle Waddle in aid of Meningitis Trust.
The school’s Mini Monty Children, aged up to two-and-a-half years old, and nursery pupils took part in the walk around the school yard, navigating the Toddle Waddle obstacle course.
On the day, there was a guest appearance the Meningitis Trusts mascot, Monty the duck.
The children also baked and decorated duck shaped biscuits, sang from the Toddle Waddle song sheet and enjoyed a treasure hunt.
Helen Steele, from the school, said: “It was a lovely day.
“The children had a fantastic time, Some parents came along to watch the children.”
