Painters, a ceramics specialist and a jewellery maker will be exhibiting their talents at an open day in Driffield later this month.
The event, which is open to the public, will take place at J Rotherham Masonry Ltd on Middle Street South on Saturday, October 13 from 11am to 4pm.
It will include hand built ceramic pieces by Barbara Wood, paintings by David Mapplethorpe, Peter Schoenecker, Val Mager and Jean Balarkas, jewellery work by Vin Bootle and Kris Egelton and hand-through stoneware by Margaret Lawrenson.
Light refreshments will be available on the day and the public are invited to come along to view the works on display as well as chat to their creators.
Jo Walton, branch manager at the Driffield shop, said the open day would be a great event for East Yorkshire artists and art lovers.
She said: “We are very keen on supporting local artists because there is some immense talent in the region and we want to showcase that.
“We have a fantastic mix of people coming along, from those working in pastels, oils and watercolours as well as photography, jewellery, knitwear and stoneware; there really will be something for everyone.
“We’re inviting members of the public to join us and speak to the artists about their work as well as view their pieces, many of which will also be on sale.
“I think it is going to be a memorable event for Driffield’s art community and I’m really looking forward to seeing all the different pieces on display.”
