Last Friday, Dancestars supported Macmillan’s Dress up and Dance Day.

Dancestars is a pre-school dance class which has classes in Beverley, South Cave and Market Weighton.

All the children dressed up along with owner and teacher Clare De Luca.

She said: “We had great fun and the children looked great. We had our usual dance class with a few party games thrown in for added fun.

“It was great to see the children donating and dancing for such a worthy cause, close to many people’s hearts.

“We are running a charity event at every class and we hope to announce the grand total next week.

“Classes have been running since February and this is our first charity event. We are not a franchise and so I’m really proud of how we are growing.

“Having worked as a professional dancer around the world and now with a family of my own, it is great to use my knowledge and experience at grass roots level.

“The children gain confidence week by week and we definitely have some future stars in the making.”
