Cyclist injured in fail-to-stop collision

A cyclist sustained minor injuries following a collision with a van – after which the driver failed to stop.

The incident happened at around 10.45am today (Thursday 17 December) on Beverley Road, around two miles outside South Cave.

The driver of the white Transit-style van is said to have behaved aggressively towards the 47-year-old male cyclist prior to the collision and to have driven off in the direction of South Cave.

Anyone with information, or who believes they have seen the vehicle prior to the incident, is asked to call 101, quoting log number 168 of 17 December.
