Burglars have targeted a village pharmacy, stealing various amounts of prescription medicine.
Just after midnight in the early hours of 13 September, burglars broke into the Dunnington Pharmacy, on York Street, after forcing two locks on the shop door. They stole prescription medicine including Co-codamol, Naproxem (anti-inflammatory), Digoxin (heart medication), Sinemet (Parkinsons disease) and Giliclazide (diabetic medication). Police are appealing to anyone who has any information about the break-in and to anyone who knows where the drugs are now, to contact them.
