Police in Pocklington have urged residents to stay vigilant following a recent attempted burglary in Pocklington.
The incident occurred last Friday on Waite Close at around 1.40am.
Crowbar marks were found on the door of the property but the criminal(s) were unable to gain access.
Sergeant Pete Rogers of Pocklington Police, said: “This is the first burglary in Pocklington for a considerable length of time but we are asking residents to call us if they spot any suspicious people or vehicles in the area.”
