£2,000 worth of jewellery stolen

About £2,000 worth of jewellery has been stolen from a house in Shiptonthorpe during a burglary.

Police are appealing to anyone who may can help with their enquiries into the burglary, which happened between 9pm on 28 April and 5pm on 2 May on York Road in the village.

The intruder(s) entered the house and stole two gold, two diamond and one platinum sapphire and diamond rings from a bedroom.

Anyone with information about the burglary or anyone who may have been offered these items are asked to contact Humberside Police on the non-emergency telephone number 101, quoting Crime Reference 2111701.
