Craftspeople sold their handmade goods at a fundraiser in aid of a community hall.

The fourth annual Local Craft Fair, held at Market Weighton Community Hall last Saturday, featured 20 craft and food stalls selling a wide variety of products.

Items sold at the event include stained glass products, knitted goods, jewellery, crafts for Christmas, crocheted items, soft toys and baby items, wool rugs, Greek olive oil, olives, cheeses and much more.

The event raised about £400 for the community hall.

Ilja King, secretary of the hall’s management committee, said: “It was a success, we had quite a good footfall. It was as good as last year.”
