Residents gathered in Pocklington’s Market Place to spread some festive cheer.

Pocklington town councillors joined residents around the Christmas tree in the town centre to sing Christmas carols.

Hosted by Deputy Mayor of Pocklington, councillor Martin Ratcliffe, the ‘Carols with the Mayor’ event saw nine popular Christmas carols sung, with councillor Peter Winterton playing the piano.
