Council to update residents on work

Pocklington’s second annual town meeting will be held next week.

The meeting, at Pocklington Arts Centre, on Thursday (22 October) at 7pm, is an opportunity for the town council to update residents on its current work and seek ideas for the future.

James Durham from the Foreward Planning Section of East Riding Council is also going to speak about the infrastructure for the town in light of the new housing developments.

The East Riding Local Plan proposes 1,250 new homes for Pocklington over the period to 2029.
