THESE youngsters got their creative juices flowing for an art day at school.
The children, from Market Weighton Infant School, had a full day of drawing, painting and making.
The art day was held to celebrate the opening of an art gallery at the school which contains work made by pupils.
A £1,000 donation was made by Market Weighton Community Charity Shop towards the gallery which was used to buy frames.
On the day, the children, aged from three to seven, made all types of art work including printing using natural materials, collages and models made out of cardboard.
Headteacher Sarah Kay-Wood said: “Parents and grandparents came to view the art gallery and the art activities that took place.
“The school and children had a thoroughly enjoyable time.”
