ONE of the four men arrested in Barmby Moor last week after a high-speed chase has been held on remand, charged with burglary, dangerous driving and having no insurance.
Police cars, vans and a helicopter were scrambled last Monday after a Ford Transit van had fled from Beverley, followed by police. The chase ended when the van collided with the side of a police van near to The Green in Barmby Moor. No-one was injured.
It was reported that the gang then ran off on foot and hid, before police - aided by members of the public - found and arrested them.
The 29-year-old was detained for a court appearance. A 20, 26 and 30-year-old were arrested for burglary and later released pending further inquiries.
