A Barmby Moor covers band is set to play a special charity gig this weekend in memory of their former bass player.

‘Riggwelted’ will play a selection of songs at The Boot and Slipper in Barmby Moor this Saturday night.

The gig is in memory of Graham Harvey who played with Roy and the Zeroes for many years and also for local band Unexpected.

Band member, Roger Pattison, said: “Graham was a very larger then life character, once known never forgotten.

“Graham died of a heart problem a few years ago so we’re going to be giving any money donated to the British Heart Foundation.

“Graham was a good bassist and I knew him all his life, so we’re all looking forward to doing this in his memory.”

‘Riggwelted’ are playing from 8pm until late and admission to the event is free.
