Police would like to speak to the two women in these pictures in connection with the theft of a bank card in Pocklington.

A 61-year-old woman was out shopping in Pocklington and was observed using a cash machine in the town. She was then followed around shops by the two women in the CCTV images.

As the shopper was getting into her car, the two women approached her, and allegedly used a distraction technique and removed her bank card from her purse.

Her bank card was then used a short time later to withdraw a large amount of money. The incident happened on 23 October.

These same two women are also alleged to have attempted to steal another elderly woman’s bank card at Langlands Garden Centre in Shiptonthorpe later the same day.

Humberside Police are asking people to be mindful of their surrounding, especially at cash machines in the run up to Christmas.
