Humberside Police have released CCTV footage of a man they would like to speak to following after a large number of car tyres were damaged in Pocklington last week.

Police have now received 140 reports of vehicles having had tyres intentionally punctured across the town. The offences all overnight Wednesday 2 to Thursday 3 September and again Thursday 3 to Friday 4 September.

Most reports are from 8pm to 8am but enquiries have revealed a more specific time of 1am to 2.30am in some cases. Following the incidents extra reassurance patrols have been taking place in the area.

Police are now releasing a CCTV still of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident. He is described as a white man with a slim to medium build and short dark hair which is balding on top. He may have been using a white van.

Officers would like to speak to the man featured or anyone who can help identify him.
