Wildlife photographers are being granted a rare opportunity to capture little owls in flight and feeding their young at a purpose-built hide near Holme on Spalding Moor.

Beverley-based freelance photographer Les Gibbon has opened the little owl photography hide on a private farm in the East Riding.

Les said: “Owls in the UK can be very elusive and difficult to find and approach, which makes them very challenging to photograph.

“Digital photography has never been so popular and many photographers are busy at work but with little time. We have put the work in and made it possible to get photographers up close to these fantastic creatures.”
