Buildings in villages to be lit purple

Three buildings in the area will be glowing purple to raise awareness of pancreatic cancer.

Charlotte Taylor, 21, of Holme-on-Spalding Moor, is planning to take part in ‘Purple Lights for Hope’, an initiative run by Pancreatic Cancer UK. She will light up Langlands Garden Centre in Shiptonthorpe, Holme-on-Spalding Moor Surgery and dairy supplier Meadow Foods’ factory in Holme-on-Spalding Moor on 1 November. Charlotte has received money from a few sponsors, including Grasby’s of Hull, Kevin Hill and Paul Taylor Driver Training, to help her fund the project.
