Fears that an historic family-friendly show may not go ahead this year have been quashed after organisers managed to find a new site to hold the annual event.
Organisers of the Bishop Wilton Show have had a tense start to 2014 trying to find a suitable showground in the parish of Bishop Wilton.
The event had been held at the same showfield for the past 30 years, but recent years of excessive rainfall and increased visitor numbers had taken its toll on the land. Consequently, the show had to move.
But thanks to the Stringer family, the 116th Bishop Wilton Show will take place at High Callis Wold Farm, Bishop Wilton.
