A Market Weighton teenager is set to raise cash for charity by sitting in a bath of beans.

Lloyd Jackson, 16, will spend four hours in the bath on Giant Community Day (Sunday 17 July), hoping for donations in aid of Breast Cancer UK and Dementia UK.

This is one of many activities Lloyd is embarking on as part of his Duke of Edinburgh gold award.

He has already raised £466 through a bungee jump and he takes on the 300km Coast to Coast bike ride starting in Blackpool to Market Weighton via Bridlington in October over three days.

He is looking for sponsorship to cover a spare tyre, tubes and a full bike service ahead of his ride.
