Youngsters from Pocklington Infant School marked the Queen’s 90th birthday by creating a giant artwork out of coins.

Pupils brought in hundreds of coins for the artwork and the coins were then donated to the Friends of the school.

A spokesperson for the school said: “All the classes came in and set the coins out and had a wonderful time.”
