A top wildlife artist in the area is set to host a special talk for charity this month.

Former Woldgate pupil Robert E Fuller will give a talk on how he watches wildlife to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Research at his gallery on Saturday 15 October.

Tickets to attend the talk and slideshow at Thixendale cost £10 and Mr Fuller will be giving all the proceeds to the Macmillan cause.

Mr Fuller will share the very best moments from his wildlife video recordings as well as some of his outstanding photographic research as he describes the story of the owls and kestrels that live in his garden as they look for nesting sites in preparation for the breeding season.

After the talk there will be a question and answer session followed by an opportunity to browse Mr Fuller’s latest paintings and sculpture.
