Abuse and threats from teens

A TRIO of teenagers hurled abuse at residents in Wilberfoss before one jumped on to a car roof and damaged its rear windscreen wiper.

It happened in the early hours of the morning, around 1am last Friday, when the three men, believed to be in their late teens, were out in the village being loud and abusive.

One then jumped on to a car parked outside a house on The Paddock.

The three then walked further down The Paddock before returning back up the street to shout abuse and threaten the owner of the vehicle which had been damaged.

They then approached a house near to where the vehicle was parked and shouted more abuse and threats at the occupants before walking off down The Paddock towards Main Street.

The three suspects are described as white men, aged 17 to 19 years of age.

The first was of a slim build, 5ft 10ins tall, with short or shaven skin head with fair hair, wearing a plain dark hooded top, with his hood up, and dark trousers and shoes.

He spoke with a broad Yorkshire accent, possibly from either the Leeds or Hull area.

The second was also of a slim build, taller than the first man, 6ft tall, similar hair style to the first man, wearing a plain grey hoody and dark trousers.

He also spoke with a broad Yorkshire accent.

The third suspect was smaller than both men, around 5ft 6ins tall, with short, dark brown hair, slim build, wearing a black Superdry coat with the Superdry logo in white lettering on the back.

None of the offenders were known to the victim.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or who thinks they may know the identity of any of the suspects to contact them on 101 referring to log 28 of 17 February.
