A farmer’s wife in the Pocklington area is set to share her experiences in a new book.

Bobbi Mothersdale, from Lowther Farm, Laytham, has written Hens, Hooves, Wollies and Wellies – The Diary of a Farmer’s Wife.

The book, due to be published in the autumn, is a wry and realistic look at life on an East Yorkshire farm. The diary also covers the numerous challenges farmers must face, including uncooperative livestock.

The publication is illustrated Jacqueline Sinclair, who provides 24 beautiful sketches for the book.

Bobbi is not only a farmer’s wife but a mother, grandmother and owner of many pets.

She also writes for the Dalesman and the Farmers Weekly.
