Driffield’s Sensation Summer is proving a real hit after the successful first Sensational Saturday Maker Market in July received glowing reviews from traders and public alike.

Word has spread and the market on Saturday August 17 will boast more than 40 stalls selling wares from cup cakes to up cycled cabinets.

ERYC Renaissance Co-ordinator, Helena Moss, who has collated feedback from the public, market traders and shop keepers, said: “We are overwhelmed by the positive response we have received about the Sensational Saturday market, clearly the general public really enjoyed the experience and we are aiming to make the remaining two Sensational Saturday Markets even better.”

Town Clerk, Claire Binnington said: “It is clear that we are building a firm foundation for future events to encourage people to visit the town and ensure our continued economic viability, we are now looking forward to planning a Sensational Christmas market as part of the Real Driffield campaign,”
