THE Nisa Local store on Scarborough Road, Driffield, has donated £1,000 to Northfield Infant School to enable staff to buy equipment for an outside study area.

The store has been raising money for its local community through the sale of specific products in store and has been able to donate the money raised with the help of Making A Difference Locally.

MADL is an independent registered charity created in 2008 by Nisa with the intention of assisting more than 2000 independent retailers to raise money for their local communities.

The charity works by allocating a specific amount of the cost of certain products promoted in the store to the retailer’s MADL fund. The store is then able to chose local charities or good cfauses to which they can donate.
