POLICE are appealing for information following a fatal road traffic collision on one of the region's roads.
The smash happened on the west-bound carriageway of the A63, 50 metres east of the South Cave off-slip.

It was reported to police by a member of the public at about 3am on Sunday, 1 November.

A black-coloured Renault Clio was travelling when, for some reason, it left the road.

Sadly, the woman believed to be the driver of the car, a Hull woman in her 20s, died. It is believed no-one else was in the car at the time.

Police, the ambulance service and the fire brigade all attended. The road was closed shortly after the accident and reopened at about 6.45am.

Anyone who saw the vehicle being driven before the collision or has any information about the collision should contact police on 0845 60 60 222, quoting log 181 of 011109.
