POCKLINGTON ROAD TRAGEDY: Two killed

TWO young women have been killed in a car crash at Warter, near Pocklington.
The red Vauxhall Corsa in which they were travelling is thought to have come off the B1246 between Warter and North Dalton late yesterday and landed upside down in a field.

Police said five people were in the vehicle. Three of them were able to free themselves from the car before fire brigade arrived.

However, two women said to be 18 and 20 and from the Pocklington area were pronounced dead at the scene.
