Man who took golf buggy fined £800

A YOUNG man who took a golf buggy from Kilnwick Percy Golf Club was ordered to pay compensation and costs totalling £837.
Stephen Aaron Moate was brought before Beverley Magistrates’ Court for taking the cart without the owners’ consent in August.

The 20 year-old from York pleaded guilty and was handed a 12 month conditional discharge, made to pay £752 compensation to the golf club and told to pay £85 costs.
